Our Shakespeare Garden is the perfect place for your ceremony, we also have our beautiful Parlor and our grand lobby for winter ceremonies or when the weather is inclement.

Our all season Warm Wicker Porch is ideal for your cocktail reception, the perfect way to meander and catch up with all your guests.

The Green Room can accommodate up to 40 people for lunch or dinner, the Center Dining room and Garden Room host a maximum of 80 people.

The Teahouse is the place for after dinner party, where the evening continues with dancing.

We also host exclusive wedding weekends when the inn is closed to the public and the inn and spa is all yours! Many activities can be organized for you (such as picnics, sport activities, visit of the area, spa day) to make your special occasion a fun and memorable weekend party.

We will take care of assisting you with finding the qualified vendors that are just right for you and your event. We have been working with the best knowledgeable local vendors that will help you with decision making to make your event a very unique one from flowers, to linens, music, ceremony officiates, to any particular needs you may have. We are here for you.

Justices of the Peace

Ken Cornet & Joe Mustich have been Justices of the Peace in Washington, Connecticut since 2000 when they became full time residents of Litchfield County after moving here from New York. They have been officiating at the weddings of many happy couples since then, and they’re enjoying every minute of it. Litchfield Hills is the perfect place to hold soulful ceremonies in a casual yet elegant atmosphere where you and your guests can relax and enjoy your perfect day!
